If you need to take two buses to reach your destination, ask for a free transfer when you board the bus . Transfers for local service valid on METRO and South Portland Bus Service. Cannot be used for return service.

We also accept mail order requests. Using the appropriate fare information, please send a check, made payable to Greater Portland METRO, to the following address: METRO (Greater Portland Transit District) 114 Valley Street Portland, ME 04102
Please include a return address and contact information, the specific month requested for a Local or Express Monthly Pass, and allow at least two to three weeks for processing.
