Metro Connect On-Demand

Overview
Metro Connect is a limited on-demand service in Falmouth and Scarborough, Maine. Book a ride from wherever you are in the service area, and we’ll pick you up. Metro Connect passengers can board the vehicle at one of many “virtual stops” located throughout the service area. Stops are usually less than a five minute walk to your location. We continue to add stops, let us know if you need a shorter walk.
Metro is launching an on-demand microtransit service in Scarborough on September 20, 2026 that will connect Scarborough residents to fixed-route transit routes as well as destinations that are outside of Metro’s fixed-route network. Ride anywhere within the zone!

Software Change
In late August 2026, Metro switched to a new vendor for microtransit. Users of the prior app will need to install a new app and re-enter information.

To get started, download the mobile app on your smartphone using the links below, or by searching for “GPM Connect” where you get your apps.
Online Using Your Web Browser
The browser-based online reservation system will require you to make an account, or to use the account you made in the app (If you have one).
By Phone During Service Hours
You can always book a trip by calling our customer service office whenever service is operating.
Have an appointment? Book in Advance!
You can book trips up to two weeks in advance!
- Want to go now? All trips are “Leave ASAP” trips by default. Book your trip and we’ll let you know when to expect your ride.
- Want to leave at a certain time? Select “Leave At” when booking a trip. This will set your pickup time around the time you specified, but the time you arrive may vary based on demand.
Note that “Leave at” trips must be booked at least 30 minutes into the future; otherwise, you can just select Leave ASAP.

Monday – Friday: 6:15 am – 9:30 pm
Saturday: 7:25 am – 10:30 pm
Scarborough zone
Monday – Friday: 6:15 am – 9:30 pm
Saturday: 7:25 am – 10:30 pm
Sunday: 8:30am – 4:45 pm
