Greater Portland Transit District is updating its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and Goal for its Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funded projects for the Federal fiscal years 2025 through 2027, with a goal of 1.59%. 

Please review and provide any comments of input by May 7, 2025. Public comments will be taken via email, phone or regular mail.

Metro and BSOOB seek a well-qualified consulting firm to conduct a peer review of no fewer than eight (8) comparable transit agencies in the United States, including at least three (3) in New England and provide written summary of how the DiriGo system compares. Comparable agencies should be based on annual ridership, operating budget, fleet size, and fare collection technology. The comparison of these agencies should address similarities and differences between base fare, fare caps/passes, fare discounts, partnership agreements, administrative expense of the fare programs and fare recovery ratios.
