Route 7 delays expected in Falmouth on Saturday, December 6 due to Ugly Sweater 5K road race in

Due to a road race in Falmouth, delays on the Route 7 should be expected on Saturday morning, December 6.

The road race runs between Depot Road and Route 88 intersections with U.S. Route 1. Delays should be expected from about 9:00am through about 10:30am.

Metro Connect service may also be affected. Metro Connect passengers should allow for extra time when booking rides to or from Route 1 between Route 88 and Depot Road, as well as the entirety of Foreside Road, during this time.

Metro BREEZ Detour during Freeport Sparkle Parade – Friday, Dec. 5 from 5:30-7:30 pm

Metro BREEZ bus stops in Freeport Village will be closed for the 2025 Sparkle Celebration Parade of Lights

Friday, December 5 from 5:30 – 7:30PM

Freeport’s Main Street will be closed to traffic during the parade.

During this closure, bus riders should go to the Amtrak Downeaster Train Station and board a Metro BREEZ bus to the Maine Beer Park and Ride for regular service bus.

Riders going to downtown Freeport will be shuttled from the Maine Beer Park and Ride during the street closure.
