Service Alert: The Downs Detour – Wednesday, October 21

Road work will cause a partial road closure at The Downs in Scarborough on Wednesday, October 21. Riders boarding between Mill Commons and Haigis Parkway should board at the Mill Commons stop on Downs Road.

The following stops will be temporarily closed in both directions:

  • Scarborough Downs Road + Gristmill
  • Scarborough Downs Road + Market St./Cross St.
  • Market St. at Allagash Brewing
  • Market St. at Trail

BREEZ Service Update: Yarmouth Town Hall Bus Stop

There will be no BREEZ service at the Yarmouth Town Hall bust stop on October 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, 30th and Dec. 5th.

Riders should use the temporary Metro BREEZ bus stops along US Route 1, near Walgreens, and walk to Town Hall using the Beth Condon Pathway.

Metro and Bath Iron Works will be ending our pilot to extend select BREEZ trips to Bath Iron Works (BIW) after the end of service on Friday, October 2nd.

The northbound trips beginning at 5:06am and 1:55pm from Thompson’s Point and ending at BIW, as well as the southbound trip departing BIW at 3:40pm, will no longer operate after October 2. Additionally, the southbound trip departing BIW at 6:20am will no longer depart from BIW, and will instead begin at Brunswick Train Station at 6:45am. All other trips are remaining unchanged.
