Route 4 and Husky Line Detour near USM beginning November 14

UPDATE: November 6, 2025 6:00PM: The road work originally scheduled to begin on November 7 has been delayed to November 14. The previously announced detour on Route 4 and the Husky Line will now take place from approximately November 14 thru November 21, 2025.

Due to road work on Bedford Street, bus stops on Bedford Street and Deering Avenue near the University of Southern Maine’s Portland campus will be closed from November 14, 2025 thru approximately November 21, 2025 or until road work is complete. This closure will be in effect from start to end of service, including through the weekend. A temporary bus stop will be provided on Falmouth Street in the vicinity of Oakdale Street for the duration of the closure.
