Greater Portland Transit District is updating its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and Goal for its Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funded projects for the Federal fiscal years 2025 through 2027, with a goal of 1.59%. 

Please review and provide any comments of input by May 7, 2025. Public comments will be taken via email, phone or regular mail.

RFP #2018-005 Consulting and Project Management Services for Automated Fare Collection System

Greater Portland Transit District (GPM) is accepting proposals for Consulting and Project Management Services for Automated Fare Collection System until Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 2:30 p.m.  where they will be opened and rea.

General Scope

  • Greater Portland Transit District (“GPM”) is soliciting proposals for Consulting and Project Management Services for Automated Fare Collection System for the Greater Portland Metro located at 114 Valley St. Portland, Maine 04102.

GPM receives funding from the Federal Transit Administration and as such is required to follow federal procurement regulations and to require its consultants and contractors to understand and adhere to those requirements. FTA requirements are conditions for this RFP and contract, and are included in the RFP document.

Contact Person

All questions should be made in writing and directed by e-mail to lshaw@gpmetro.org and be received at least five (5) business days prior to the opening date, no later than Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Questions received after this time will not be addressed. Responses from GPTD that substantially alter this RFP will be issued in the form of a written addendum.

Qualifications

GPTD receives funding from the Federal Transit Administration and as such is required to follow federal procurement regulations and to require its consultants and contractors to understand and adhere to those requirements. Firms should also be aware of FTA requirements for contracts, attached as part of this solicitation, which will be included in the contract with the successful proposer. Closely read all FTA requirements contained in the specification documents.
